About
I’m David Loveland. I spent over a decade photographing weddings to a professional standard and before that all manner of stuff. This is not a commercial business; been there, done it. I stopped enjoying commercial photography so I now work exclusively on my own projects.
I have a passion for creating fashion photographs worthy of any magazine editorial. I enjoy piecing together all the elements that make a great fashion image.
I strongly believe, elegance & allure is intrinsically connected to modesty and in being mindful of what we choose to make public. Not everything needs to be seen to be valued.
My Style
I shoot predominantly with natural light in premium locations and with wide angle ‘story telling’ lenses. Ever seen Harpers Bazaar magazine, centre-spread, editorial fashion shoots that are both genius and visually very special? That’s what Im aiming for.
My images are never vulgar, brash or loud and I’m an advocate for models to take the path of modesty.
For 2026, my style will be shifting heavily towards the great outdoors, tweeds, furs, satins with a strong British country look and links to British heritage but I also have my sights set on some projects in Europe this year. Contact me if interested.
Working with Me
So, I book a cool location, often a high-end Airbnb. We discuss dates, times and fees.
On the day of a shoot, we go over some ideas first, have a good old chat about life, holidays, family, ambitions etc and relax! It’s so important that the vibe is laid back.
Trust, honesty and respect is super important. Modelling is not easy, I totally get it. It’s exhausting in fact. Equally, photography is not easy either but if we work well together, the creative process flows effortlessly.
